I came across this book Glorious Needlepoint by Kaffe Fassett, I had to buy it.I must say this is a really nice embroidery book.I am saying this not because I am Kaffe Fassett's fan but because the book is detailed , nice pictures and well explained in a simple language. I love the way he mixes colors, so beautifully,it lifts up your spirit.I guess my next budget will be to look for his DVD/VHS. Check out his work at kaffefassett.Enjoy!

I like embroidered clothing/fabric,they are so beautiful and the work put into them is amazing! I came across these (Image 2&3) types at embroidery-design-guide.com. There are more designs but these two caught my eyes. Image 1 is the design called zardozi embroidery made in India,it is awesome.Let me know if you know any other types.
